What is Direct Primary Care?  What does this mean for me if I have insurance or Medicare?   What if I don’t even have insurance?  Click here to find the answers to your questions and to learn more about what Whole Family Direct Care offers.

How Are We Different?

Fewer Patients

What if I were to tell you the average Primary Care Physician would have to spend 21.7 hours per day to provide all the recommended acute, chronic and preventative care for a panel of 2,500 patients?* What if I also told you that most estimates show Primary Care Physicians have an average of 2,000 – 3,000 patients on their panels? You can clearly understand why it is hard to see your doctor and have enough time in your visit to address all your needs. Dr. Mark will limit his practice to approximately 800 patients. This means that he will have more time available to spend with each patient.  He will also have time to better coordinate their care with specialists, hospitals or the latest advances in treatments. With fewer patients, Dr. Mark can be reached easily using the latest technology, such as texting or e-mail.

No Insurance

Whole Family Direct Care does not accept insurance, freeing both the patient and doctor from intrusions by insurance companies. Rather, a low monthly membership fee allows you to have the relationship with the doctor you want and deserve. In fact, many labs and other tests are available at discounted prices. This and the better access to your doctor, can actually lower your overall costs. Now, you and the doctor can make decisions regarding your healthcare based on what’s best for you.
